Guestlands – It has to be seen to be believed!
Guestlands is a private, boutique B&B and photography location in Arcadia NSW, only 20 mins from Hornsby and 45 mins from the CBD.
When I first walked through the gates of Guestlands and entered the “Italian Village” I just stood in silence and wept tears of absolute joy!
Silence and crying are two emotions that hit me in the complete wrong context. I hardly ever cry sad tears in life, I avoid sad tears like hell on high water, and silence for me is non-existent!
So if you’ve silenced me and happy tears slowly roll down my face you know you’ve completely blown me away!
“Pete and Jenny Guest” the energetic hosts and entrepreneurs behind the Guestlands brand, story and creation met me with a glass of prosecco as they do all their Guests to the B&B.
We meandered through their 5 acre property which takes you on a journey through the streets of Italy (you literally could be in the streets of Bellagio overlooking Lake Como as yes they have water views over a lake).
The gardens are designed with staircases, arbours, topariarys, water fountains, bridges, sculptures and chickens playing chess !
Pete and Jenny have put so much love and care into every square inch of design and upkeep, creatively evolving the property over 25 years. Pete and Jen radiate pride and enthusiasm when they take their guests on their regular afternoon garden walks.
I have been lucky enough to shoot portraits and commercial work at Guestlands for the last 4 years and every shoot is different as the seasons change, the gardens blossom and different vignettes evolve in every corner… It’s like magic! Guestalnds is a nationwide, hugely sought after location for photography.
How can you too enjoy a Guestlands photographic experience?
- Engage with Guestlands as a location for a photoshoot whether it be a personal branding shoot, company website update, fashion shoot, commercial shoot, family photoshoot, wedding day location shoot, couples shoot for an anniversary, or proposal.
- Stay at Guestlands B&B and enjoy a private getaway/ escape for the weekend either as a couple or a group of friends, indulging in a personal chef experience and a couples/ friends/ fashion photo shoot as a memory of your experience.
- Learn photography with me with a one-on-one workshop and enjoy a 1hr of shooting in the Italian village and around the gardens. We then come back to my place in Arcadia and continue with some post production and photoshop lessons.
